FELIPE JOSE N. ZAMORA III

Chief Executive Officer

Since taking on the CEO role in April 2009, Felipe has driven the growth of the Company’s loan portfolio from PHP 250 M to PHP 1.62 B and its equity base from PHP 10 M to PHP 250 M. He has also spearheaded the Company’s diversification strategies within and beyond the pension industry by partnering with banks and various technology providers as well as launching innovative products such as offline and online pay-day loans and salary loans. Prior to working with the Company, Felipe worked for two years on the funding strategy of Cavite Biofuel Producers Inc. (CBPI), an ethanol producing firm. Before CBPI, he was also an Assistant Vice President of Sales for One Finanz, a wealth management brokerage registered in Hong Kong.Felipe graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, major in Finance and minor in Economics.

JEROME STEFAN N. LEUNG

Chief Technology Officer

Prior to joining TGLFC in 2009, Jerome was GM of Bluediscus Inc., an Ecommerce platform maintenance and development firm, from 2007 to 2009. He was also Director of Product Development for Detour LLC., a US-based online travel marketplace provider offering online services, from 2006 to 2009. Jerome has over 16 years of experience in technology, ranging from embedded software development, e-commerce and online marketing, ERP/CRM development and integration, and IT operations. He spearheaded the creation of the Company’s Loans Management System, one of the first comprehensive automated systems in the local pension loan industry.Jerome graduated from the University of the Philippines in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and
Communications Engineering.

MICHAEL E. MENDANIA

Chief Financial Officer

Mike has been the CFO of the Company since October 2015 where he has also worked as a consultant a few years prior. Before joining the Company, he worked as a Financial Analyst for First Philippine Industrial Park, Inc. and Subsidiaries; First Industrial Township (FIT), Inc., FIT Utilities, Inc. and FIT Water, Inc. He was also a Corporate Group Controller for Hospitality International Inc. (HII), which now manages close to 20 properties in Metro Manila including The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences in Makati City and Azumi Boutique Hotel in Alabang. Mike had his beginnings in SyCip Gorres Velayo (SGV) where he honed his skills as an Associate for 3 years.Mike graduated from San Beda College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy.

JON-JON B. AVILA

Chief Business Strategist and Salary Loans Group Head

Jon-Jon has over 13 years of experience in the financial services and telecommunications industries, where he has directly led both revenue generation and enablement sides of the business. Prior to joining Golden Legacy, he was the Chief of Staff for Branches of one of the biggest Western Union agents in the country, where earlier, he was the Lead for Product Management and Customer Insighting. He also used to head Customer Acquisition of the leading mobile bank in the country. He has led strategic use of system and platform capabilities and automation rollouts as Product Strategy Manager for Consumer Sales of a telco market leader, where he started out his career as a management trainee (2009-2014). He is an advocate for financial inclusion, driven by his passion to help bring affordable financial products and services closer to the community. Jon-Jon graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2009.  

SHEILA B. JAVIER

Corporate Services Director

Sheila has been with the Company since 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience and expertise in both Human Resources and Administrative Services. With 16 years of dedicated practice in HR, she demonstrates proficiency in various domains, including Strategic Human Resource Management, Talent Acquisition and Development, Human Resources Planning, Performance Management, Workplace Counseling, Compensation and Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement.

Prior to joining Golden Legacy, Sheila used to work on diverse industries, ranging from Health and Life Insurance, Sports Information Intelligence, Non-Profit Organizations, Business Process Outsourcing, and Financial Solutions.

Sheila holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations from University of the Philippines School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP SOLAIR). Furthermore, she obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Psychology, from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

FLORENCIO C. ANGULO III

SSS Pension Unit Head

Bojo is a seasoned Sales Leader with more than twenty (20) years experience in the Financing, Banking, and Insurance Industries. Prior to joining Golden Legacy, he was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at TRB Express, Inc. He was also an Assistant Vice-President and Head of Loans for PETNET Inc., a subsidiary of the City Savings Bank and a part of the Aboitiz Group of Companies. Earlier in his career, he also held senior positions  at Radiowealth Finance Company, Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Solutions and Bank of Florida, a Rural Bank. Bojo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU). He also studied Bachelor of Laws for four years at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and earned units for his Masters in Public Administration at the University of the Assumption.
